I am 32 years old, a computer scientist and mathematician.

I have been a city councillor in Freiburg since November 2022. I was re-elected to this office in the local elections on June 9, 2024.

Local politics

I have been a member of Freiburg City Council since November 2022. Among other things, I am a member of the Committee for Building and Urban Development, the Mobility Committee and the Social Committee.

I am fighting for urban development in which we consistently build and maintain affordable housing. At the same time, we must create and maintain open spaces that ensure the quality of life in our city and keep life affordable for people on low incomes.

I have been active in the SPD for more than ten years now and have been a member of the Freiburg municipal council for two years. Now I would like to take the next step and apply for the Bundestag candidacy in electoral district 281.

Mathematics

I completed my doctorate in mathematics in 2024 and have been a postdoc in the Department of Applied Mathematics at the University of Freiburg ever since.

As part of my doctoral thesis, I developed methods for the numerical solution of non-local partial differential equations. The picture shows the solution to the fractional Dirichlet problem on the three-dimensional ball.
